Notes before you pack

  • Dogs (Sanya Bay Coastal Park / Tianya District notice, 2021): no fierce/large dogs in the park stretch (includes beach between 光明路 and 御海路 along 三亚湾路); other pets require leash; owners clean waste. Elsewhere on Dadonghai, Yalong, and Haitang sand, follow on-site signs for pets.
  • Flags / lifeguards: Follow on-site signs, staff, and local authorities for bathing flags and lifeguards.
  • On the day, check the signs for parking prices, and the operators for water-sports tickets.
