Parking at a glance

Waikiki / Makaha (Circuito de Playas, Miraflores): Reach the beach deck via Bajada Balta and other Costa Verde bajadas. MINCETUR lists Waikiki as free ingress. Check the parking signs when you arrive.

Agua Dulce (Chorrillos): Separate from Miraflores Waikiki–Makaha on the Costa Verde corridor. Check the lot signs on the day. Metropolitano Playero beach buses run on summer weekends only.

Punta Hermosa district: South of the city; PromPerú names Punta Hermosa / Señoritas / Los Pulpos. Check parking and any vendor fees on site.

Waikiki (Playa Waikiki)

The easiest Costa Verde beach in Miraflores for a first visit, near Bajada Balta. Circuito de Playas; free Libre ingress; about 1.3 km / 20 minutes walk from Parque Central de Miraflores. Soft, regular waves. Check the lot and street signs when you park.

Makaha (Playa Makaha)

Miraflores Costa Verde; plazuela, stairs, showers, ramps; Miraflores Surf City notes consistent waves and municipal surf schools. Check the parking signs.

Agua Dulce (Playa Agua Dulce)

Chorrillos bathing beach on the Costa Verde corridor; Minsa / DIGESA Verano Saludable 2026 campaign launch site. Separate access from Miraflores Waikiki–Makaha. Check live DIGESA sanitary rating before bathing assumptions. Check parking options when you arrive.

Punta Hermosa Beach

South Lima district stretch; PromPerú lists Punta Hermosa / Señoritas / Los Pulpos. District beaches on open maps include Señoritas, Caballeros, and El Silencio. Classic southern surf waves about 45 minutes from the capital — different access from Costa Verde walk-on sand. Check parking options when you arrive.

Notes before you pack

  • Dogs: Metropolitan Ordenanza N.° 1850-MML prohibits entering Lima province beach zones with pets / domestic animals, except guide / guardian / lifeguard dogs with distinction and instructor — follow on-site signs.
  • Flags / sanitary ratings: DIGESA Verano Saludable lists beaches as saludable / no saludable (bandera azul criteria: microbiology, cleanliness, restrooms). Cadence is weekly in summer and monthly the rest of the year. On-duty lifeguards and any physical flags at a stretch are authoritative when present.
  • Miraflores Costa Verde, Chorrillos Agua Dulce, and Punta Hermosa share one guide with different access.
  • Cliff-top Malecón de Miraflores is parks and viewpoints; Circuito de Playas beach deck is at the foot of the cliffs via bajadas.
  • Check the parking signs when you arrive.
